About Noble Art Entertainment:
Mission: A professional, interactive dinner theater experience improving quality of life and stimulating economic growth through arts and entertainment in Ohio. Noble Art Entertainment, where every seat is center stage.
About us: Noble Art Entertainment is a professional, interactive dinner theater experience offering original works 3 times each year. Productions span from classic literary works to slap stick musicals. Each show consists of 5-15 paid actors and is performed 3-4 consecutive weekends from Sept-May for audiences of 40-70 guests. Noble Art Entertainment also provides vignette shows for bus tour groups and murder mysteries for nearby hotels. Currently Noble Art partners with The Historic Oak Room and The Lodge at Geneva-on-the Lake as the premiere venues for performances.
Noble Art adds it's creative works to the arts in Ashtabula County and is joined by several community theaters and arts organizations to make Northeast Ohio's culture broad and entertaining.
The main players: Noble Art Entertainment began conceptually in 2003 with a small group of actors performing a few shows wherever they could. These two talented individuals have since brilliantly combined their skill sets, years of experience and unparalleled passion to produce awe-inspiring and captivating theatrical works.
In looking for a location to set the foundation of their company, Brook and Sarah discovered it was right here in their own backyard of Ashtabula County, Ohio. They recognized a demand in Geneva-on-the-Lake, which is traditionally known as a seasonal summer resort town, and knew they could impact Ohio's 'off-season' tourist industry to offer a new type of destination through the arts. After the first production of 'A Christmas Carol' in Geneva-on-the-Lake in 2006, all involved were thrilled to sign-on for an entire season of performances. This early partnership with key Geneva-on-the-Lake tourism businesses is what fueled Noble Art Entertainment's growth into the successful business it is today. Noble Art is quickly becoming a well known and loved form of entertainment for locals and tourists in Northeast Ohio.
The meat of it: Noble Art is excited to grow with a shift in the menu preparation for the Ohio dinner theater. For the first 8 years in GOTL, Noble Art was pleased to work with the chefs from The Old Firehouse Winery for menu creation, preparation and service. Moving away from the winery kitchens and into the dinner theater setting gave the Firehouse Chefs a chance to flaunt their creativity while serving 5 course plated meals each night. This creative spirit has continued as Noble Art began producing the meals with their own in-house team of chefs in 2015. Working with talented local Chefs, Noble Art has brought a new perspective to the table which has proven to take the dining experience to the next level. Guests enjoy themed dinners with a fresh spin on dishes featuring many local ingredients. The Oak Room also features Old Firehouse wines for guests to enjoy throughout the shows.
Community: Noble Art Entertainment has flourished in Ashtabula County and has not only created a significant economic impact by hiring local performers and bringing in a local audiences; but has succeeded in attracting customers from outside the area to spend their dollars on lodging, dining, local tours and more. Noble Art continues to flourish with a deep community integration founded on strong partnerships.
What inspires Noble Art: Noble Art is encouraged by the audience’s appreciation and continual support, by the enthusiasm of the actors and by the collaboration of many businesses in the area willing and eager to grow as a united community. Noble Art is also motivated by the opportunity to provide jobs for many actors/employees who can do what they love for pay, rather than simply volunteering.
The future: As a unique, for-profit arts entity, Noble Art has a long term goal to be a valuable asset to the community, supported by local partnerships, making the arts accessible to everyone. To do this, Noble Art's short term goals include acquiring a website to broaden brand awareness (check!) and eventually expanding to mount even grander productions. By growing the awareness, quality and number of productions, Noble Art will be able to better anticipate the community’s needs and assist in the revitalization of the area through added tourism and public outreach.
The professional training, leadership abilities and combined degrees of Noble Art’s employees lend an unconventional approach to arts education as well as theatrical offerings. Noble Art hopes to begin offering interaction & improvisational training to the community and to companies as team building. Improvisational skills can be an invaluable tool in providing stronger customer service, building client relations, stimulating inter-office cultures and more.
